The Benefits of Membership

Interpreters and translators have been working in educational settings for decades without adequate resources, support and recognition from the professions of which they should be an integral part. By joining this organization, you are part of the group that is laying a true foundation for a bona fide specialization in educational interpreting and translation.

Professional Development

AAITE is proud to host the Edu-Talk series and other professional development events aimed at collaborating and bringing the educational interpreting and translation communities together to share their experiences working in these fields. All are open to both members and non-members. Edu-Talks are held virtually the first Thursday of nearly every month, and are free to members. Edu-Workshops are longer professional development opportunities, available to members at a discounted rate. Edu-Con is our annual conference event.
